Residential proxies

Rotating residential proxies are a distributed pool of real IP addresses sourced from home internet connections around the globe. Unlike datacenter proxies, every IP in our network belongs to an actual device—a smartphone, router, or computer owned by an everyday user.

These addresses refresh automatically with each request or after a set interval, giving you a highly anonymous, ever-changing connection profile. You pay only for the data you transfer, not for the number of IPs, so this proxy type stays flexible and cost-effective. Continuous IP rotation lets you mimic normal user behaviour, bypass anti-bot defenses, and access content from a wide range of geolocations.

Residential proxy plans

We offer two plans so you can pick the option that best fits your needs:

Both plans support:

• IP rotation on every request or after a custom TTL
• Username / password authentication
• HTTP and SOCKS5 protocols
• No expiry on purchased traffic

The plans differ in their available ports, IP-pool size, providers, and geographic coverage.

Getting started

1. Open your ProxyWing dashboard.
2. Purchase the required plan under the Residential Proxies tab.

Premium Traffic — parameter configuration

The settings in the Premium Traffic plan are very similar to those in Traffic 2.

Key differences:

1. You can use a direct connection for IMAP mail services and tap into a premium IP pool—a limited set of addresses that undergo more frequent quality checks.
2. For a detailed usage breakdown of this plan, contact our support team and request a report.

Matching parameters:

• Country: Select a country from the drop-down list (e.g., “United States”)
• City: After choosing a country, enter a city (e.g., “New York”), or leave the field blank
• Session:
  • a new IP is issued on every request
  • keeps the same IP for a specified TTL
• Proxy Type:
  • HTTP
  • SOCKS5
• Credential format: domain:port:username:password
• Example: geo.proxywing.com:8888:username:password
• HTTP Port: default port — 8888
• Credential Count: number of proxies (10 by default)
• Edit TTL: sets the IP’s time-to-live (TTL) for Static sessions — up to 7 days.

Generate credentials

1. Configure the parameters.
2. Click Generate.
3. Once the process is complete, a list of proxies will appear.

Traffic 2 — parameter configuration

On the settings page you can choose parameters to manage geotargeting, sessions, and protocols:

• Country: Select a country from the drop-down list (e.g., “United States”)
