PROXY FUNDAMENTALS

Datacenter proxies

ProxyWing datacenter proxies are static dedicated IPv4 addresses hosted in datacenters. Each proxy is assigned to one client for the duration of the service and keeps the same IP address until the subscription ends.

This proxy type is suitable for tasks where a persistent IP address, high connection speed, and a large amount of traffic are important.

Single-location and mix proxies

Datacenter proxies are available in two variants:

  • single-location proxies, if you need IP addresses from a specific country.
  • mix proxies from multiple locations, if a specific country is not important and you need a lower price.

With mix proxies, you cannot choose which countries will be included in the order. After purchase, managing mix proxies is the same as managing single-location proxies.

Billing and service period

Datacenter proxies are purchased for a specific period (1, 3, 6, or 12 months). The billing cycle can be changed after purchase.

After the paid period ends, the proxies stop working if the service has not been renewed. Datacenter proxies with the same IP addresses can be restored within two weeks. Contact support to restore them.
