A proxy server acts as an intermediary between your device and the destination resource. It lets you use the proxy's IP address instead of your original IP address and can be used to access geo-restricted resources and manage network connections.
Datacenter and ISP proxies are dedicated: each proxy is assigned to one customer. Residential and Mobile Proxies use different models. Residential Proxies provide access to a pool of IP addresses, while Mobile Proxies use IP addresses from mobile carriers.
Datacenter and ISP proxies operate on 1 Gbps ports, but actual speeds depend on the user's internet connection, routing, and geographic location. Residential Proxies average around 100 Mbps, although actual performance depends on the selected country, current IP address, route, and other connection conditions. Mobile Proxy speeds depend on the selected provider and plan. The current speed is shown on each offer's product card.
